Well, it would seem that I should start this blog. My mom thinks it would be a good idea for everyone to be able to keep up with my travels and such so here it goes. I will be traveling to Scotland in February to study for four months. But I am sure there will be plenty to hear about that once I arrive. I could tell you a fun story instead. I have always been a traveler ever since I can remember. My family would go on trips all over the United States. My top two family trips are the one's we took out west. The one to Rocky Mountain National Park is definitely a funny one. It was my mom, step-dad, and my two little sisters all crammed in a car on our way out to Colorado. We were supposed to be journaling and observing the wildlife, well let me tell you it gets pretty boring journaling about the tumble weeds and the farmlands. These farms didn't even have any animals! It was just ridiculous. So instead my sisters and I would watch movies and bother one another until we got in trouble. We would sleep in crazy positions until our legs and arms went numb. Another story from this trip is out at the Colorado Springs Zoo. My youngest sister Teana LOVES giraffes. At this zoo you can feed the giraffes, she was really excited. At the time she was probably eight. She gets her piece of cracker to feed the giraffe and as she was getting close she screams and drops the cracker, I guess she didn't realize that giraffes have blue tongues! yikes! Well I would say this is a good start, I hope someone will start reading so they can here some more crazy stories! Peace. Lael
